GRADschools for postgraduate researchers
Vitae is running two national GRADschools in 2012 (in October and November). These are three-day residential courses for postgraduate research students in their second year. For details, see the Vitae website.

Agricultural Journalism Training Awards
The Guild of Agricultural Journalists and John Deere Ltd are offering a week-long training scheme with lectures from 8 - 10 July 2012, followed by three days' work experience, aimed at students or existing journalists with less than 12 months' experience, who are interested in a career in agricultural or horticultural journalism. Guardian Student Media Awards 2012
This is an opportunity for student editors, reporters, broadcasters, photographers, feature writers and others to show off their talent and kick start their careers.
